Week 13

Crime has been crippling and brought down to nearly nothing. In Chicago, one of the most violent cities has plummeted 42% in the last week of the global pandemic. Drug dealers are being given no choice but to wait out the virus. Fewer people are being killed, or robbed.
  1. Tweet 2: Education:
The coronavirus has flipped the lives of millions of people all around the world. College, businesses, and companies have been transformed to online work. Which has caused a lot of problems for students and employees. This is restricting the learning and work of many.

Women marches were held across five continents, and many cities within these continents are participating. The places that are participating are big cities with thousands of people. These women are fighting for abortin rights to civil rights and global warming.
A lot of smart and intellectual people have predicted the coronavirus and its damage to the economy. However, President Trump did not predict this and now he is failing at trying to end this pandemic. He refused to accept that this was a real threat, and look where we are now.
Discussion:
It was difficult to pull out the information that was important from beats that I am not used to writing about. However, I think it is always hard to pull out information from a long news story that will pull people in to read it. The way I usually do to make a summary is pull a sentence from the beginning, middle, and then the end. I do this because then the reader can  get a feel for what you will be reading through the whole story. One difficulty of this assignment was definitely the word/character count. It was hard to confine so much information into only 280 characters.
