As of 3/15 the government has cut interest rates down to nearly nothing. Trump even spoke on the issue and how he agrees with the interest decreasing. There have been 3,100+ cases in the US and there have been 60 deaths. The government was not ready for this outbreak especially because Trump let go of the pandemic outbreak team that was set up by former President Barack Obama.
